My people. Art. Dogs. Music.
I didn't know that there was a career to be had with being creative, until my Sophomore year of high school. I was attending Mount Juliet High School when I enrolled in my first "computer graphics" class. My teacher took note of my interest in design and began giving me small projects like flyers and prom posters until my Senior year when she gave me the ultimate opportunity. I was selected to create the new crest for my high school. Upon completion of that project, I was filled with such confidence and excitement for my design career moving forward. I chose to move to another state, in a big city, and pushed all the boundaries that I was comfortable with.
My big move landed me in Atlanta, Georgia, where I am currently a Senior at Savannah College of Art and Design, pursuing my BFA in graphic design. I have spent my college career growing as a designer, but also as a person. I have fallen in love with the city and all that it has to offer.
